We are partnering with a distinguished college preparatory school serving grades 6-12 in Miami, Florida, to seek dedicated and adaptable educators for on-call substitute teaching positions. This opportunity is ideal for those who excel in small class settings, with an average student-to-teacher ratio of 15:1, and who can provide flexible support across various grades on an as-needed basis.

Role Responsibilities:

• Adaptable Instruction:  Provide high-quality teaching across middle to high school grades, adjusting to different academic levels and subjects.
• Classroom Management: Promote a supportive learning environment in small classes, adhering to the school’s emphasis on personalized instruction.
• Curriculum Delivery: Continue the school's rigorous college preparatory curriculum, ensuring consistency and academic excellence.
• Flexible Engagement: Demonstrate versatility by teaching different grades and subjects according to the school's needs.
• Student Support:  Foster a culture of academic achievement and college readiness within a close-knit educational community.

Candidate Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
• Certification:  Valid Substitute Teacher certificate from FDOE is preferred.
• Experience:  Previous experience in teaching or substitute teaching, with a readiness to adapt to varying classroom settings.
• Classroom Dynamics:  Ability to engage and manage small-sized classes effectively.
• Adaptability:  Flexibility in grade and subject assignment, meeting the dynamic needs of the school.
